I was recently invited on to the GoodPractice podcast to discuss what learning and development professionals in organiosations could learn from journalism.

The episode is below and in it I emphasise the importance of being able to ask qood questions in order to unearth interesting information. This might sound obvious but when there is so much unchecked, potentially false information kicking around online it becomes more important to find the credible stuff.

This presents a good opportunity for organisations to focus on creating quality content and in so doing borrowing some approaches from journalism. In particular, making sense of complex information, capturing people’s attention and paying attention to the provenance of information you share.
