Continuing our series on #storymakers, we are delighted to share the thoughts and insights of David Metcalfe, a professional storyteller and organisational development consultant.
David asked to film the interview on Solsbury Hill just outside of Bath, UK, where we both live. He leads us through how he uses story and narrative, including a history of where we were standing for the interview, and how stories are embedded in the landscape.

The more you know somebody else’s story the more you understand and respect them. Stories are very powerful for helping people understand each other . . . they are a powerful sense-making device.

I love that quote and it is so true. Fantastic interview thank you for sharing. I am working on using stories more in my work because I find them to be a better way to talk to my blog readers.
