At yesterday’s L&D Connect unconference there was a lot of discussion on hot topics in learning and development. You can see the discussion topics for the fishbowl sessions here and the questions posed for the open space discussions here.
As a follow-up to the day we (I mean the organisers David and Sukh and the few people I mentioned this to after the event) were wondering if it would be useful and possible to pull together a set of reflections on these topics from participants at the event.
This is a shout out really to all those who attended. If there was a topic or area of discussion from the unconference that you are interested in, fires you up or are keen to reflect on then would you be interested in writing a short piece on it? If we get enough interest then we can produce a short e-book that will not only help mark the day but hopefully be useful for those who have contributed to it. Become a book author!
It should also help promote future events as it will help people get a feel for the topics discussed (participants said it can be hard ‘selling’ the unconference concept to colleagues so maybe this can help with this?).
So, if you are going to write a piece for your blog, for example, then let me know and we can include it in the book.
Let’s see what we can do. It was a great day and hopefully we can carry on the conversation in lots of different ways including something new for L&D Connect, it’s very own e-book.
