Recruitment like many other business functions is trying to get its head around the mobile experience. In terms of jobs, some employers are doing it well, others not at all.
Meanwhile, job seekers continue to use mobile devices for jobs. In fact, according to Emma Frazer, head of industry for recruitment at Google, mobile search – including searching for a job – has increased five times in the last couple of years and that one in five of all recruitment related searches is now are carried out on a mobile device.
So, if your jobs and careers sites are not optimised for search you could be waving goodbye to 20% of potential candidates.
