Just caught up with Maria Hernandez, an English literature graduate, who was part of the graduate panel this morning at the ConnectingHR Unconference.

Maria, unlike some of the others on the panel, has only applied for 10 jobs in the last two months so she has been pretty focused on what she wants.

From what Maria said, networking skills are crucial for graduates looking for work as the traditional CV application process can be very hit and miss.

After the interview Maria told me she is working on a blog (yet to go live) and is writing a book.
