Last week I was at Learning Live, the annual conference for the newly-named Learning and Performance Institute – see more on that on my live blog for the event and conference round-up.

During the conference I interviewed learning technologist Craig Taylor about the interactive posters he had produced especially for the event.

The posters are a simple idea which are well executed. I particularly liked Craig’s idea that conference delegates get something physical to take away from his session.

So, the poster features commonly used social networks and tools and on each logo there is a QR code. Scan the code with your phone’s QR code reader and a short audio file will start to play telling you more about that particular tool. Result: simple and effective mash-up using old and new media
